She is board-certified in family medicine, and has specialty training in several areas: women's health issues, allergies, NAET, natural hormone replacement, anti-aging medicine, and most recently mesotherapy. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Anti-Aging Medical Society (AAM), and the American Society of Aesthetic Mesotherapy. She is a member of the Bastyr University Speaker's Bureau and speaks on several health issues, representing Bastyr. She has contributed to several publications on hormonal issues, especially on the thyroid. Currently, she is focusing on expanding her longevity/age management practice. On a personal level, Dr. Messer is an avid fitness expert. She's a body builder, distance runner, and rock climber. Her high energy and enthusiasm for health and life are contagious!
